3 Article Marketing Time Savers

Article writing is a great source of very inexpensive traffic for your business.  It can also be difficult and time consuming which is why many people put it off and never seem to get around to it.

However, it doesn’t have to be that way!

These tips will allow you to significantly speed up the process and  free up more of your time to focus on other aspects of your business:

1.  Using an Article Submission Service

In the last tutorial we discussed “article spinning”, a technique which involves writing a single article and “spinning”  it into several unique versions which can then be submitted to multiple article directories.  This allows you to get maximum exposure for your articles and, as a result, much more traffic.

Although “article spinning” is a great technique, creating multiple versions of an article and submitting them all manually to multiple article directories still takes a lot of time.  (Too much time, in our opinion!)

If you want to run really effective article marketing campaigns, we suggest that you invest in an automated article spinning and submission service which allows you to quickly and easily create multiple versions of a single article and then submit them to all of the major article directories with the push of a single button.

There are many good article spinning/submission services available.  Two that I like are   SubmitYourArticle.com and Article Submitter.   I’ve used both of them over the years and have been happy with the results.  SubmitYourArticle.com is great because it has a really easy to use interface and a feature that lets you take a single article, spin it into multiple versions and then submit those versions to a huge number of article directories in minutes.  These guys are also experts on the art of creating effective article marketing campaigns and writing good content and offer a ton of free advice and tutorials on their site.

Article Submitter is also a great service and they offer a free version of their article submission software  which is perfect for someone just starting out.

2.  Private Label Rights (PLR) Articles

Private Label Rights Articles (or “PLR Articles” for short) are packages of articles (usually around 10 articles or so)  relating to a particular subject which you can purchase and download and then use any way you want.   The content of these articles is not usually mind-blowing but it can be a great way to quickly publish many articles without much work and at a very reasonable cost.

When using PLR:

(a) look for vendors that limit the number of each package that they sell to 50 or less.  This way you know that there aren’t a thousand other people out there working with the exact same articles;

(b) ensure that the articles contain the keywords that you are targetting!  Use the keyword density tools discussed earlier and aim for keyword density of 3-5%.  Where necessary, revise the article to increase your keyword density;

(c) consider doing a little re-writing to put your own personal stamp on the article and, more importantly, to make it more relevant to the product or web site that you are promoting;

(d) for a killer one two-punch, use PLR in combination with an article submission service like SubmitYourArticle.com (discussed above.)  This will allow you to take a package of 10 articles, spin them into over a hundred articles and then auto-submit them across mutliple article directories.    How’s that for big time savings and huge results?

3.  Outsource Your Article Writing

There are a lot of people out there who will write articles for you, usually for a fee of $8 to $15 per article.

If you are a member of  Wealthy Affiliate, take advantage of the “WA Jobs” area.  Here, you can post your requirements and then have others bid on the job.

Or, check out Elance.com, a great source of cheap labor for any type of outsourcing job.

When choosing an outsource provider to write articles for you, make sure that the author is a native speak of English and ask for examples of their work before hiring them so that you can check out the quality before hiring them for the job.

Also, be specific about the topic that you want your articles written on and tell the author which keywords you want to target.  Once the article is written, do a keyword density check before submitting it.

Conclusion

Using one or more of these time saving techniques will allow you to create effective article marketing campaigns in record time and at a reasonable cost.
